Welcome to Vaidheeki Vasthram. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at www.vaidheekivasthram.in ("Website") and all services, products, and content offered by Vaidheeki Vasthram ("we", "our", "us", "Company").

By accessing or using our Website, creating an account, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Website.

Products & Pricing

We take every effort to accurately represent our products and prices. However, please note the following:

Clause 4.1 — Product Descriptions

We strive for accuracy in product descriptions, images, and specifications. Due to the handwoven nature of our products, slight variations in colour, texture, and dimensions are inherent and not considered defects. Product colour may also appear slightly different due to lighting conditions during photography and individual screen display settings.

Clause 4.2 — Pricing

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST. Prices may change without prior notice. The price at the time of order placement is the binding price for that transaction.

Clause 4.3 — Pricing Errors

In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel affected orders and notify customers. Customers will receive a full refund if payment has already been made.

Clause 4.4 — Availability

Product availability is subject to stock. We do not guarantee that items displayed on the Website are available for purchase. In case of stock-outs after order placement, we will notify you and offer a full refund or suitable alternative.

🎨 Colour Note: All product images are captured under professional lighting. Actual product colour may vary slightly on different screens and devices. This is a normal characteristic and not grounds for return unless the product significantly differs from its description.

Orders & Payment

Placing an order on our Website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected product(s) subject to these Terms.

💳 Online Payment Only: Vaidheeki Vasthram currently accepts payment through online payment gateways only (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). Cash on delivery is not available.

Clause 5.1 — Order Acceptance

An order is considered accepted only upon our sending an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailable stock.

Clause 5.2 — Payment

Full payment must be made at the time of order placement through our secure online payment gateway. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and popular digital wallets. No cash on delivery is available.

Clause 5.3 — Order Cancellation by Customer

You may cancel your order within 2 hours of placement provided it has not been dispatched. Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is not accepted. You must wait for delivery and initiate a return as per our Returns Policy.

Clause 5.4 — Cancellation by Vaidheeki Vasthram

We may cancel orders due to stock unavailability, payment failure, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. Full refunds will be issued for any prepaid amount within 5–7 business days.

Clause 5.5 — Correct Delivery Details

Customers are responsible for providing correct and complete delivery address and contact details at the time of placing an order. Vaidheeki Vasthram is not liable for failed or delayed deliveries resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated shipping information.

⚠️ Fraud Prevention: We monitor for suspicious order activity. Fraudulent chargeback claims or misuse of return policies may result in account suspension and legal action.

Delivery Terms

Shipping Terms

All shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. Key provisions:

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. We are not liable for courier delays beyond our control.
Risk of loss and title to products passes to you upon delivery to the courier partner.
You are solely responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address. We are not liable for non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout.
If a delivery attempt fails due to your unavailability and the package is returned to us, re-shipping charges will apply.
Please ensure your registered mobile number is active and reachable as our courier partner may contact you for delivery coordination.

📍 Address Accuracy: Orders delivered to a wrong address due to customer error are not eligible for free re-shipment or refund. Please double-check your shipping details before confirming your order.

Policy

Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns Policy. By placing an order, you agree to the following key provisions:

⚠️ Submitting fraudulent return claims (e.g. claiming damage that did not occur, returning a different item) will result in immediate account suspension and may lead to legal proceedings under applicable law.

All content on this Website — including but not limited to text, product photographs, graphics, logos, saree design imagery, the "Vaidheeki Vasthram" name and mark, and the weaver's story card content — is the exclusive intellectual property of Vaidheeki Vasthram or its licensors, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.

Clause 8.1 — Permitted Use

You may view and access Website content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Sharing individual product links on social media for personal reference is permitted.

Clause 8.2 — Prohibited Use

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, sell, or commercially exploit any Website content without our explicit written consent.

Clause 8.3 — User-Submitted Content

Clause 10.3 — Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of our Website or purchase of our products shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

Clause 10.4 — Delivery Address Errors

We are not liable for non-delivery, re-delivery costs, or losses arising from incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses or contact details provided by the customer at checkout.

Clause 10.5 — Third-Party Links

Our Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those websites. Visiting third-party links is at your own risk.

Jurisdiction

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If resolution is not achieved within 30 days, the matter may be referred to mediation or arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before resorting to litigation.

✅ Consumer Disputes: You may also file a complaint with the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) or the relevant State Commission if your dispute falls under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Amendments to These Terms
