Orders & Payments

What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept all major payment methods including Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), Net Banking, UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), all major wallets, and EMI options via select cards. Cash on Delivery (COD) is also available for orders up to ₹25,000 with a ₹49 convenience fee.
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?+
You may cancel or modify your order within 2 hours of placing it, provided it has not yet been dispatched. Contact us immediately via WhatsApp at +91 98765 43210 or email care@vaidheekivasthram.in. Once dispatched, cancellations are not possible but you may initiate a return.
My payment failed but money was deducted. What should I do?+
If your payment failed but the amount was deducted from your account, it will be automatically reversed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. If you don't see the reversal after 7 days, please contact us with your transaction reference number. Do not place the order again until the refund is confirmed to avoid duplicate charges.
Do you offer EMI options?+
Yes! EMI is available on orders above ₹3,000 via select credit cards (HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis, and others) at checkout through our payment gateway. No-cost EMI may be available on select products during festive sale periods.
Will I receive a GST invoice for my order?+
Yes, a GST-compliant invoice is automatically emailed to your registered email address upon order confirmation. If you require a B2B invoice with a specific GSTIN, please provide it at the time of checkout or contact us within 24 hours of placing your order.

How long does delivery take?+
Standard delivery takes 3–7 business days depending on your location. Metro cities typically receive orders in 2–4 days. Remote areas and states like J&K, Northeast, and Andaman may take 8–12 business days. Express delivery (1–2 days) is available for select pincodes at an additional ₹149.
How do I track my order?+
Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive an SMS and email with your AWB tracking number and a direct link to track your shipment. You can also visit /track on our website and enter your Order ID and registered mobile number for live status updates.
Is there free shipping? What's the threshold?+
Yes! All prepaid orders above ₹2,999 qualify for free standard shipping across India. Orders below ₹999 are charged ₹99, and orders between ₹999–₹2,998 are charged ₹79 for shipping. COD orders carry an additional ₹49 convenience fee regardless of order value.
My order shows delivered but I didn't receive it. What now?+
First, check with family members or neighbours, and look around your doorstep or any secure delivery spots. If the package is still not found, contact us within 48 hours of the delivery status update at care@vaidheekivasthram.in or WhatsApp +91 98765 43210. We will raise a courier investigation and resolve within 3–5 business days.
Do you deliver internationally?+
Currently, we ship only within India. International shipping to the USA, UK, UAE, Canada, Australia, and Singapore is expected to launch in late 2025. For urgent international orders, email us at care@vaidheekivasthram.in and we will assist you manually where possible.

7-Day Return Policy: We offer hassle-free returns within 7 days of delivery for eligible items in original, unworn condition with tags intact.

How do I initiate a return?+
Email care@vaidheekivasthram.in or WhatsApp +91 98765 43210 within 7 days of delivery with your Order ID and reason for return. Our team will arrange a free pick-up within 2 business days. Ensure the saree is in its original packaging with all tags attached and unwashed/unworn.
Which items are not eligible for return?+
The following cannot be returned: custom/made-to-order sarees, items marked "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" on the product page, sarees that have been worn, washed, or altered, items without original tags/packaging, and sarees ordered during special sale events where return exclusions are explicitly mentioned.
How long does a refund take?+
Once your return is received and quality-checked (2–3 business days after pick-up), refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. For bank transfers, add 1–2 additional business days. COD refunds are issued as a bank transfer or store credit within 7 business days.
I received a damaged or wrong item. What should I do?+
We sincerely apologise! Please photograph the item and packaging, then contact us within 48 hours of delivery at care@vaidheekivasthram.in with your Order ID and photos. We will arrange an immediate replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you, including return shipping.
Can I exchange a saree for a different one?+
Yes! Exchanges are available within 7 days of delivery, subject to product availability. Contact our team with your Order ID and the product you'd like to exchange for. If the new item has a different value, the difference will be charged or refunded accordingly.

Are your sarees genuinely handwoven?+
Yes. Every saree on Vaidheeki Vasthram is sourced directly from skilled artisans and weaver clusters across India, including Kanjivaram, Banarasi, Chanderi, Maheshwari, and Pochampally weavers. Each saree comes with a weaver's story card detailing the artisan and their craft tradition.
How do I know the saree I receive matches what I see online?+
We photograph our sarees in natural and studio lighting to represent true colours and texture as accurately as possible. Slight colour variation is normal due to monitor calibration differences. Each saree undergoes a quality inspection before dispatch. If you're not satisfied, our return policy applies.
Do your sarees come with a blouse piece?+
Most of our sarees include a matching unstitched blouse piece (approximately 0.8m). This is clearly mentioned in the product description. A small number of sarees (particularly heavily embellished or handpainted pieces) may not include a blouse — this will be noted on the product page.
Do you offer customisation or made-to-order sarees?+
Yes! For bridal and special occasion sarees, we offer customisation of colours, borders, and motifs in select weave types. Custom orders require a 50% advance payment, take 4–6 weeks, and are non-returnable. Contact us at care@vaidheekivasthram.in to discuss your requirements.

Saree Care

How should I wash a silk saree?+
For silk sarees (Kanjivaram, Banarasi), always dry clean only. Avoid machine washing or soaking. If dry cleaning is not accessible, hand wash very gently in cold water with a mild fabric shampoo, without wringing. Dry in shade, folded — never hang a wet silk saree as it distorts the weave.
How do I store sarees to prevent damage?+
Store sarees wrapped in muslin or cotton cloth — never in plastic. Refold every 6 months to prevent permanent crease marks along fold lines. Place neem leaves or camphor balls in your wardrobe to deter insects, especially for silk and zari sarees. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent colour fading.
How do I remove a stain from a saree?+
Do not rub the stain — blot gently with a clean cloth to absorb excess. For silk sarees, take them to a professional dry cleaner as soon as possible. For cotton/linen sarees, spot cleaning with cold water and mild detergent is usually safe. Avoid using hot water, bleach, or harsh chemicals on any handwoven textile.

Do I need an account to place an order?+
No, you can checkout as a guest. However, creating an account lets you track orders, save addresses, access your purchase history, earn loyalty points, and receive early access to new collections and sales.
How do I apply a discount or coupon code?+
Enter your coupon code in the "Have a promo code?" field on the cart or checkout page, then click "Apply". Only one coupon can be used per order. Coupon codes cannot be applied after an order has been placed. For issues with your code, contact us via WhatsApp.
How do I know about upcoming sales and new arrivals?+
Subscribe to our newsletter via the footer of any page for new collection alerts and exclusive offers. Festival sale announcements are sent exclusively to subscribers first.
