At Vaidheeki Vasthram, every saree is carefully inspected and packed before dispatch. We take great care to ensure your order reaches you in perfect condition.
However, if your product arrives damaged or defective, we are happy to assist with a return or exchange — subject to the conditions outlined on this page. Please read this policy fully before raising any claim.
⚠️ Important: Returns and exchanges are accepted only for damaged or defective products. We do not accept returns for change of mind, personal dislike, colour variation, or any reason other than physical damage or a genuine defect.
These four rules apply to every return and exchange request without exception:
The opening video is your proof of the condition in which the package arrived. Without it, we cannot verify any damage claim. Here's how to record it correctly:
❌ Invalid Videos: Edited videos, videos without the sealed package, videos taken after the item was already opened, or videos uploaded beyond the 24-hour window will be automatically rejected and the claim will be closed.
✅ Tip: Make it a habit to record an opening video for every online order you receive — not just from us. It protects you as a consumer across all platforms.
📌 Handloom Note: Handwoven sarees naturally carry minor variations in texture, thread density, and slight colour tones. These are characteristics of authentic handloom fabric — not defects — and are clearly not eligible for return.
If your product qualifies under our policy, follow these steps:
Before anything else — record your unboxing from sealed package to product reveal in one continuous video. This is mandatory. Without it, your claim cannot be processed.
Fill the claim form at the bottom of this page within 24 hours of delivery. Attach your opening video, photos of the damage, and your order details.
We will verify your video and photos and notify you of the outcome via email and SMS. Approved claims proceed to pickup scheduling.
For approved claims, our courier partner will collect the item from your address. Keep the saree in its original packaging with all tags attached.
After we receive and inspect the item, your refund is initiated or your replacement is dispatched within 2 business days.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method after we receive and inspect the returned item. Timelines below are from the date of refund initiation:

⚠️ Before you submit: Ensure you have your opening video ready to upload. Claims without a valid opening video will not be reviewed. Claims must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery.
